Pass me the mic (and/or pen)!
In addition to working with artists, I love collaborating with the passionate people and platforms dedicated to promoting them. No matter the medium, I operate at the intersection of careful research and unmatched enthusiasm, bringing wit and warmth to the stage and the page as I do my best to inform and inspire.
✩ Need a host?
I’ve been an MC and interviewer for nearly a decade, and there’s nowhere I’m happier than on a stool, on a stage, with a microphone (and maybe a clipboard).
I’ve shaped, moderated and sat on music-industry panels for events in NYC (Arlene’s Grocery’s 30th Anniversary, New Colossus Festival), as well as over in Europe and the UK (Viva Sounds Festival, Ireland Music Week).
Through WFUV, I’ve emceed live events with Mumford & Sons, The Black Keys, Cold War Kids, Stephan Jenkins of Third Eye Blind, The Head and the Heart, Guster and more.
I’ve also hosted live sessions on site at events like AMERICANAFEST (Cat Clyde, Jack Van Cleaf, The Wood Brothers and more) and Anti Social Camp (Pom Pom Squad, Jukebox the Ghost and others), plus—at the latter—conducted on-camera interviews for social media with 60+ artists over two days.
No matter the event, I come in heavily prepared to ensure room for lightness and laughter—bridging the gap between artists, experts and audience to create an experience that’s as engaging and entertaining as possible.
✩ Want a writer?
Words are my forte, my first love and my favorite way to shout about the people, places and things I care about most.
Along with the hundreds of profiles, premieres and newsletters I’ve written for Bands do BK—and the BdBK book—my music writing has appeared in NYC underground rock n roll newspaper MANI and, in 2025, the 50th anniversary issue of the legendary PUNK magazine. No matter the piece, my goal is always to ensure my subjects feel understood and appreciated while inspiring readers to fall as deeply in love with them as I have.
On the non-music front, my background is in journalism, and I’ve had hundreds of features, profiles and lifestyle pieces published online and in print (Thrillist, Austin Monthly, Do512—to name a few). I also moonlight as an occasional contributor for VinePair, a website covering alcohol as culture (including one article, a manifesto of sorts, about the seven stages of drinking at Whole Foods).
I’m always looking for new writing opportunities, so if you’re looking for a contributor with true passion for the craft, deep respect for a deadline and a lifelong addiction to the em dash, look no further than me and my macbook.
✩ Okay, I’m also down to DJ.
I live in Brooklyn. It was only a matter of time.
